Below a bridge
there lived a troll,
and on his nose
there lived a mole.
Up onto the bridge did I climb,
and up he came from behind.
"I will eat you," he screamed.
"My," said I, "You're awfully mean."
"Come out sun!" I said.
"Come out, and beat upon his head!"
Came out the sun, brave and bold.
"Ah!" screamed the troll.
It was destroying his precious mole!
Yell did the troll!
On the ground he did roll!
His skin shriveled,
his body sizzled!
Away did I run,
while he soaked in the sun.
Ran I away,
but returned the next day,
only to find him all done.
